The first Leatherman folding knives were introduced in late 2005. Altogether there have been five model series with large lock-back knives. All are now retired.
The two large Crater knives were introduced in 2008, and retired in 2011. They have a carabiner, 420HC blades, glass-filled nylon bodies, and two-digit size numbers.
Four large Expanse knives was introduced in 2008, and retired in 2011. All have a carabiner, liner lock and blade launcher, with 154CM stainless steel blades, combination metal and nylon bodies, and two-digit size numbers.
The "H" series of four Leatherman knives was introduced in late 2006, and retired in 2008. All are large lock-backs with 420HC stainless steel blades. Even numbers are plain blades, and odd numbers are partly serrated. H502/503 add a bottle/can opener and bit driver, with two bits stored in the body.
