The Victorinox SwissTool Swiss Army multi-tool is a large, 115mm / 4 5/8" tool made entirely of stainless steel. It has large pliers with a wire cutter, plus 11 tools that are built into the handles. All of the SwissTool implements lock into place for smoother operation (you push on a knurled knob to release each tool, when you are ready to fold it back into the handles). Victorinox first introduced the SwissTool in 1997, and then made minor insignia changes in 1998 and 1999. They enlarged the pliers head in 2002, and then thickened it further in 2004 for the current version (which also reversed the pivot on the pliers).
