In 1961, the Swiss Army switched to a new soldier's knife: it had a rugged and light-weight, ribbed, 93mm aluminum alox body, instead of the previous red composite material. Victorinox soon introduced about twenty other models in the same body, with different permutations of tools.
In 2008/2009, the alox Soldier's knife was retired, and replaced with a larger, 111mm Swiss Army Soldier model that has dual-density polymer handles and different tools. Over the years, most of the other alox models were also retired. There are only three surviving alox models that remain in current production.
This list includes all current and retired 93mm alox models from Victorinox. It does not include custom or limited-run knives.
