The Victorinox and Wenger 2008 Soldier Swiss Army knives are a 93mm / 3 1/2" ribbed alox knife, with a 2008 date on the blade tang. This model was standard issue for the Swiss army during 2008, and it's the final year for the alox Soldier. '08 Soldier knives the same tool details as the prior 2007 Soldier. 2008 also is the first production year for the current 111mm Soldier knife.
Size & Weight: The Victorinox and Wenger 2008 Soldier knife is 93mm (3 1/2") long, 23mm (15/16") wide, and 14mm (1/2") thick. It weighs about 73 grams (2.6 oz).
