Leatherman Super Tool 1996

In its third year of production, the Leatherman Super Tool underwent another tool change. In July, the pointy saber blade was replaced with a less dangerous clip-point blade. In addition, the width of the pliers was reduced slightly. As a result, tools produced in July and earlier have the same tools as the late 1995 tools, while those made in August and later are similar to the version found in 1997 and later.
