The Victorinox SwissTool 1997 is the first year of production for the popular Swiss Army multi-tool. It is a large, 115mm / 4 5/8" tool made entirely of stainless steel. It has large pliers with a wire cutter, plus 11 tools that are built into the handles. All of the SwissTool implements lock into place for smoother operation (you push on a knurled knob to release each tool, when you are ready to fold it back into the handles). It was Victorinox' response to the popular Leatherman PST. It's equally sturdy and much more elegant.
